Tom Sullivan is a shareholder and member of our
Business, Finance, and Real Estate Department. His practice is concentrated in the areas of transactional and business law (organization, operations, and planning), insurance law (organization and regulatory), and real estate law (secured commercial lending and transactional). His representations have included most aspects of publicly and privately held companies’ business activities, including formation, governance and control issues, sales and purchases of assets and equity interests. Tom has served numerous Iowa domestic insurance companies and their affiliated companies in their national operations, and many national insurers in their Iowa regulatory relations. Tom is counsel to the Iowa Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Association and is active in the National Organization of Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Associations.
Tom has been active in the Business Law, Real Property, and Corporate Counsel Sections of the Iowa State Bar Association. He has served on the boards of many community organizations, private foundations, and trusts.
