On Thursday, September 3, 2009, 40 Nyemaster Goode attorneys, staff and their families and friends volunteered to package meals for the Meals from the Heartland program. Meals from the Heartland is a grass-roots movement that was formed to organize world hunger relief efforts. During this year’s 5-day event, volunteers packaged over 4 million meals that will be delivered to starving people around the world. Team Nyemaster Goode packaged over 11,000 meals during its shift.
