Our Practice:
Nyemaster Goode’s attorneys have an extensive Tax Controversies and Dispute practice with the Internal Revenue Service and state and local tax authorities in administrative, civil, and criminal court proceedings. We regularly represent clients on income, employment, sales and use, and property tax cases and appeals. We represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service and in the U.S. Tax Court, the Federal District courts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals on federal tax issues. We represent clients before the Iowa Department of Revenue and in all Iowa courts on state tax issues. We also regularly advise clients on tax compliance matters concerning information reporting, delinquent tax payment work-outs and competing creditor disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and Iowa tax authorities.
