Our Practice:
Throughout Nyemaster Goode’s history, business and commercial transactions have been a core practice area. Our attorneys serve a diverse client base, both domestically and globally, in a large variety of complex business and commercial transactions. With broad multidisciplinary practice areas, our Business and Commercial Transactions attorneys are able to handle these transactions effectively, efficiently, and at a reasonable cost to its clients. When necessary, such as in certain global transactions, we partner with other high quality law firms with which we have established relationships to assist with clients’ transactions. Our Experience:
Assisted client with organization of a joint venture between large insurance companies to own and operate a variable life insurance company.
Represent national agricultural chemical company in negotiating and documenting global manufacturing, distribution, and supply agreements.
Represent national window and door manufacturing company in negotiating and documenting exclusive distribution agreements, supply agreements, sales representative agreements, and operational contracts.
Represent pre-sort mailing and print shop client in negotiating and documenting service contracts, equipment leasing agreements, software licensing agreements, web hosting agreements, and operational contracts.
Represent a multi-national manufacturing company in the negotiation and review of manufacturing agreements and supply agreements in the United States.
Represented a computer seller with locations in multiple states in $25 million sale of its business.
Represented client in $90 million acquisition of the second largest independent rendering business in the United States with locations in 12 states and subsequent sale of the business for $140 million.
Represent international company headquartered in Iowa in contracting for purchases and sales of products and services, as well as joint ventures.
Represent businesses of all sizes in contracting, employee relations, buying and selling transactions, and joint ventures.
Assisted client with Research Development Agreement regarding human serum albumin.
Represent Iowa company in joint venture agreement with Northern Ireland and UK companies.
