Our Practice:
Health care is an essential industry in the United States and Nyemaster Goode is actively and extensively involved with it. Our attorneys work closely with health care clients on a wide array of health law issues, including those relating to health insurance, provider/payor agreements, certificates of need, antitrust, fraud and abuse, licensing, Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA (including privacy and security), EMTALA, compliance programs, and other legislative and regulatory issues. Working closely with other attorneys from our multidisciplinary practices, including Business Organizations; Insurance; Governmental Affairs; Labor and Employment; Tax, Estate Planning, and Employee Benefits; and Litigation, our Health Care attorneys advise clients on formation and operation of various corporate entities, labor and employment law, compensation and employee benefits, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, and taxation. Our Governmental Affairs attorneys assist our health care clients on regulatory, legislative, and law developments, including lobbying and updates on changes in applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Our Experience:
Advise single physician practices and large multi-specialty physician groups on wide array of matters, including physician contracting, employer relations, joint ventures, Anti-Kickback, and Stark.
Advise health insurance companies and third party administrators with respect to a broad range of health care issues.
Represent a broad range of other entities involved in health care services, including nonprofit organizations and state health reinsurance associations.
Assisted large private health care clinic with organization of ambulatory surgery center.
