Epperly and Miller Participate in DMDC Effort

May 22, 2018

During May each year, in what has become the nation’s second-largest chamber-group fly-in, nearly 200 members of The Greater Des Moines Partnership, comprised of business, civic and regional community leaders, travel to Washington D.C. and meet with the Iowa Congressional delegation, and representatives of the Executive Branch, to present The Partnership’s “Federal Policy Agenda.”  One of the focal points of this year’s discussions was advocacy for additional resources to expand the Des Moines International Airport, which would further enhance central Iowa’s competitive position on the national and global stage.  Nyemaster Goode continues to support The Partnership’s federal advocacy efforts through sponsorship and participation, and this year Nyemaster Government Affairs Department attorneys Brad Epperly and Dustin Miller, who represent The Partnership at the Iowa Legislature, traveled with The Partnership’s group on behalf of the firm.  For more information on the event, visit their website here.
