Nyemaster Goode is pleased to announce that Tom Goodhue has joined the law firm’s Des Moines office and Ethan Olson has joined the firm’s Cedar Rapids office.
Tom has joined Nyemaster’s Litigation Department. He represents clients in disputes in state and federal courts, and before administrative tribunals. He has experience litigating cases involving state and federal consumer protection laws, breach of contract, business torts, the False Claims Act, and other matters. Tom also has experience in alternative dispute resolution. He has represented clients in mediations and in arbitrations administered by the American Arbitration Association, International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, International Chamber of Commerce Court of International Arbitration, London Court of International Arbitration, and other institutions.
Previously, Tom practiced law in Washington, D.C. for 10 years at two international law firms and as a trial attorney at the Federal Trade Commission.

Ethan has also joined Nyemaster’s Litigation Department and maintains a general litigation practice. Prior to joining the firm, Ethan served for over two years as a law clerk to the Honorable Linda R. Reade, United States District Court Judge for the Northern District of Iowa.
Ethan received his B.A. from Coe College, graduating summa cum laude, and earned his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he graduated with highest distinction and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
